my inspirations
- Photography - scenery (sunsets are a favorite), families, wedding, nature...you name it, I'm probably going to like it. I have a Nikon digital camera (not one of the ones with all the fancy lenses and buttons) but I don't use it as much as I should. I am glad though for the memories that I've been able to capture.
- Libraries - I couldn't survive without these because without them, there wouldn't be...
- Books - I love books, especially the thrilling, edge-of-your-seat types. They are my escape from reality. I tend to wish I were one of the characters, living in that era and experiencing life before all the hustle and bustle of our lives took over. The time-honored values and ways of life that sometimes make this life seem so complicated. Of course, I have my favorite genres of books and here they are: Romance; Mystery; Biography; Adventure; Crime/FBI/Spy thrillers (my latest :). I like both novels and biographies, old and new.
- Authors - If we didn't have these people, books wouldn't be in existence. Here are my favorites: Dee Henderson; Brock and Bodie Thoene; Julie Cave; Lynette Eason; Irene Hannon; Karen Kingsbury; DiAnn Mills; Jane Austen; Louisa May Alcott; Lois Walfrid Johnson; Wendy Lawton; H. Rider Haggard
- Movies - Sometimes, my brain gets tired of reading. That's when I watch something with one (or more) of these themes: Mystery; Comedy; High-Action; Romance; Anything black/white.
- Music - I don't have an iPod (yet - I'm hoping maybe for my bday? ) but music is always a great pick-me-upper. I have a variety of tastes which include: Christian Rock; Country; Swing/big band; jump-around dance songs (the kind we have at school dances and games - not always the best, but there's a time and place for them too).
- Beautiful flowers and bridal bouquets - need I say more? They're heavenly...and smell wonderful.
- Bright and cheerful colors - Pink, Purple, Blue, Black, Lime Green, Teal, Sunny Yellow, Tangerine Orange
- Journals - what better place than to write your thoughts, hopes and dreams...they're always fun to go back and read and see how you've grown and matured.
- Playing with imaginitive kids
- Knowing that being able to laugh makes life better
you forgot meee :( haha
